TOMATOES
Rohrs Bros grows tomatoes for Red Gold Inc., a processor located in Indiana. Tomatoes are transplanted from our greenhouse operation over a six week period in May and June. A percentage of the crop is irrigated during the growing season using drip irrigation. This process is intensely managed to increase both yield and quality. All tomatoes are mechanically harvested and delivered for processing the same day of harvest.

CORN AND SOYBEANS
The majority of our acres are planted to corn and soybeans. We use the latest in seed technology from companies such as Beck’s and Pioneer. Technology plays a huge role in our operation. Global positioning is utilized for steering, nutrient placement, and overlap control. New technology is being developed and utilized at a fast pace to reduce costs and increase yields. Our grain is marketed using hedging strategies and grain storage. We have the ability to store over 500,000 bushels of grain. Our grain will be utilized for ethanol, feed, and export.

WHEAT
Rohrs Bros. grows soft red winter wheat. This crop is harvested in early July and allows us time to make ongoing land improvements.
